16 Years of Women Leadership

Mahila Shakti Bikash Kendra Nepal (MSBKN) marked 17th year following the completion of its 16th year. To commemorate this milestone, the Center organized insightful discussions on women's leadership, empowerment, and entrepreneurship. The event, held on March 4th, 2024 commenced with an inauguration by Honorable Apsara Chapagain, Deputy Speaker of Bagmati Province.

The highlight of the event was a panel discussion that featured prominent women’s rights activist Bharati Silwal Giri and former member of constituent assembly and entrepreneur Chhaya Sharma. Moderated by Sahana Bajracharya, the discussion delved into the impact of patriarchy and emphasized the importance of women's empowerment.

The event also featured testimonials from empowered women, Dil Kumari Thami from Dolakha, Sita K.C. from Rukum and Dhana Rawal from Dadeldhura; facilitated by Sahana Bajracharya. Their life stories narration showcased the transformative impact of MSBKN’s initiatives.
